Homologation by Declaration of Own Use
Regularization of imported equipment for the company’s own use.
What it is
Equipment imported for the company’s own use, not for sale, must also be regularized with ANATEL. Homologation by declaration of own use is the path for these cases.
Who it is for
Companies that import equipment for internal operations, research, projects or their own infrastructure.
What we do

The client provides equipment data, specifications, quantity and import documents. We prepare the required declaration.
Request
We file the request in ANATEL’s system on behalf of the company.

Frequently asked questions
Does equipment imported for internal use need homologation?
Yes. Even without being sold, the equipment must be regularized. The declaration of own use is the simplest path for these cases.
How is it different from standard homologation?
Standard homologation allows the product to be sold and requires full certification. Own use applies only to the company that will use the product, for non-commercial purposes.
Can I resell equipment homologated for own use?
No. To sell it, standard homologation is required.
Do you serve individuals?
Our services are dedicated exclusively to companies. For imports made by individuals, we recommend consulting ANATEL’s guidance directly.
